Unforgiveness

The other day a Business man was speaking at a luncheon I had attended. He said it this way. Let’s say you were to Carry a bowling ball around every were you go for the rest of your life, that would wear you out in a hurry. Let’s say you were to carry a baseball around in your hand all the time, which would also get you down. Let’s say you put a marble in your mouth, and kept it there for the rest of your life, would that get to you after a while? What about this, you have a tiny stone in your shoe and walk with it for the rest of your life.   Unforgiveness can consume your life. Unforgiveness can likely be that tiny stone in your shoe. Have you ever has an eye lash in your eye? What relief it is to get it out. How about that tiny stone in your shoe, does it feel good to get the stone out? When we forgive we become free again, the way we were meant to be.   Just a thought…
